Famous Celebrity Blogs | Personel Information

Sometimes, so-called celebrities are under the assumption that everything they think, say, write is interesting to other people. Sometimes, they’re right. Here are 7 celebrity blogs worth checking out.

Mara Wilson – Mara Wilson isn’t a celebrity anymore but that’s part of the point of her blog. Wilson was the child star of Matilda, Miracle of 34th Street and Mrs. Doubtfire. These days, the 26-year-old is a writer who has no interest in film acting. She blogs about family, friends, and life in general. She’s also written a now viral article about why many child actors go off the deep end. This blog is a good read is your like reading.

Katy Perry – If you have a slight to high interest in Katy Perry, you might find her Tumbler fun to visit. The pop star posts pictures from tours as well as videos and photos she finds amusing. This blog is good if you don’t like reading.

Roger Ebert - Yes, it’s true that Ebert has left us for a bigger screen in the sky but his blog still stands as proof of his intellect, depth, and genuine goodness. When Ebert wasn’t watching and writing about movies, he was sometimes writing on his online journal. The topics range from stories from his childhood, religion, politics, and news stories.  Each post Ebert shared had purpose. In another words, no fluff here.

Mindy Kaling – Speaking of fluff, Mindy Kaling blogs. Kaling (writer/actor from The Office and The Mindy Project) writes about whatever she’s thinking about at the moment whether it be about her job, heart-shaped pans, or pillows. If you liked her book, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?(And Other Concerns) you’ll probably enjoy her blog. You’ll notice that the blog is outdated, (The project was probably meant to market her book when it came out) but you can find similar fluff on her show’s blog, themindyprojectstyle.com, where all the eye-catching clothes from the show are posted along with where you can find them.

Eric Idol – For those who long for more of Monty Python’s Flying Circus, Eric Idol keeps an active blog on his own website. The writer/actor/singer/songwriter posts a new blog post about 2-3 times a month. Posts will give readers a smile. Idol writes about his daily doings as well as shares project stories from the past. He also posts Shel Sliverstein-esque poetry.

Margaret Cho – The always brassy, Margaret Cho has a blog that she posts about once a month. She writes about playing guitar, her pets, and her love of all things funny. Sometimes she’s posts something as simple as a picture or video, other times she will write about things more important to her like gay rights or her mom.

Roseanne Barr – If you have an interest in politics, you have something in common with actresses/writer/comedienne/director Roseanne Barr. The star of the show Roseanne regularly blogs on her site Roseanne World. Barr posts open letters to politicians, videos of speeches she has given at events, and writes articles about all the big world issues. Her articles are intelligent and opinionated. Would you expect anything less from her?

The CW famous series 'The Flash' which was telecasted in USA in the year 2014.

The Flash is an American television series developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns, airing on CW. It is based on the DC Comics character Barry Allen / Flash, a costumed superhero crime-fighter with the power to move at superhuman speeds

Short Story

Barry Allen is a Central City police forensic scientist with a reasonably happy life, despite the childhood trauma of a mysterious red and yellow being killing his mother and framing his father. All that changes when a massive particle accelerator accident leads to Barry being struck by lightning in his lab.

Coming out of coma nine months later, Barry and his new friends at STAR labs find that he now has the ability to move at superhuman speed. Furthermore, Barry learns that he is but one of many affected by that event, most of whom are using their powers for evil.

Determined to make a difference, Barry dedicates his life to fighting such threats, as The Flash. While he gains allies he never expected, there are also secret forces determined to aid and manipulate him for their own agenda. One of the most successful superhero series on television. The show has 7 wins and 14 nominations across various awards platform in its first season.

Plot of 'The Flash' The CW Popular Series

After witnessing his mother's supernatural murder and his father's wrongful conviction for the crime, Barry Allen is taken in by Detective Joe West and his family. Allen becomes a brilliant but socially awkward crime scene investigator for the Central City Police Department.

His obsession with his tragic past causes him to become an outcast among his peers; he investigates cold cases, paranormal occurrences, and cutting-edge scientific advancements that may shed light on his mother's murder.

No one believes his description of the crime—that a ball of lightning with the face of a man invaded their home that night—and Allen is fiercely driven to vindicate himself and to clear his father's name.
Fourteen years after his mother's death, an advanced particle accelerator malfunctions during its public unveiling, bathing the city center with a previously unknown form of radiation and creating a severe thunderstorm.

Allen is struck by lightning from the storm and doused with chemicals in his lab. Awakening after a nine-month coma, he discovers he has the ability to move at superhuman speeds.

Dr. Harrison Wells, the disgraced designer of the failed particle accelerator, describes Barry's special nature as "metahuman"; Allen soon discovers that he is not the only one who was changed by the radiation. Allen vows to use his gifts to protect Central City from the escalating violence of metahuman criminals. He is aided by a few close friends and associates who guard his secrets

From Creator/Executive Producer Tim Kring, who imagined NBC's original critically acclaimed 2006 "Heroes" series, comes "Heroes Reborn," an epic 13-episode event series that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities.

A year ago, a terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas left the city decimated. Blamed for the tragic event, those with extraordinary abilities are in hiding or on the run from those with nefarious motives.

Two such vigilantes include Luke (Zachary Levi, "Chuck") and Joanne (Judith Shekoni, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2"), who are seeking to avenge a tragic loss.

Noah Bennet, aka HRG (Jack Coleman, "Heroes"), has gone off the grid, but conspiracy theorist Quentin Frady (Henry Zebrowski, "A to Z") finds him and opens his eyes to the truth behind the Odessa tragedy.

While in hiding, some are discovering their newfound skills. Awkward teen Tommy (Robbie Kay, "Once Upon a Time") just wants to be normal and win the girl of his dreams, Emily (Gatlin Green, "Criminal Minds"), but normalcy is virtually impossible after learning of a new ability that terrifies him. Coming from a very sheltered upbringing, a bold and ethereal teenager, Malina (Danika Yarosh, "Shameless"), has been told she is destined for greatness.

In Tokyo, a quiet and unique young woman, Miko (Kiki Sukezane, "Death Yankee 3"), is trying to track down her missing father while hiding an extraordinary secret that will make her a force to be reckoned with. Elsewhere, a different type of hero is emerging through former soldier Carlos (Ryan Guzman, "The Boy Next Door").

Meanwhile, Erica (Rya Kihlstedt, "Masters of Sex"), the head of the highly successful tech conglomerate Renautas has an agenda of her own.

For better or for worse, some are fated to cross paths with assorted heroes of the past, including Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka), Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg), Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) and the Haitian (Jimmy Jean-Louis), among others. Yet, together, their ultimate destiny is nothing less than saving the world and mankind.

Joining Kring are Executive Producers James Middleton ("Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles") and Peter Elkoff ("Sons of Anarchy"). "Heroes Reborn" is produced by Imperative Entertainment, in association with Universal Television.
