Rollins has unquestionably proven his mettle since cashing in his Money in the Bank contract during Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 31 match against Roman Reigns to capture his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Lucifer has dropped its first trailer, giving audiences a good idea of what to expect from Fox’s next trip to the world of comic books.

The Vertigo version of Lucifer was created by Neil Gaiman as a character in the Sandman comics and then later given his own series by Mike Carey.

The show will stick to the basic premise of Lucifer getting bored of his position in Hell and opening a piano bar in Los Angeles, but will add a procedural twist by having Lucifer aid an L.A.P.D. homicide detective (Lauren German) in the messy business of catching criminals.

He plays Lucifer Morningstar, the former ruler of Hades who opts out of the afterlife and heads to a place with just as much sin and debauchery: Los Angeles. After he lives through a drive-by murder, he begins helping the NYPD on a quest to punish the criminals. To give them hell, if you will.

Lucifer will mainly be partnered up with homicide detective Chloe Dance, played by Chicago Fire’s Lauren German.

Lucifer will be Welsh actor Tom Ellis’ biggest break yet here in the U.S., following a lead role on USA’s Rush and a part as Robin Hood on Once Upon a Time.

Judging from the promo, particularly the scene with Rachel Harris’ psychiatrist, Chloe doesn’t appear to be too interested in how Lucifer does his job, although her fascination with his demonic ways will almost certainly grow as the season goes on. Even if he has to “talk” her into it.

Also, it’s not as if you can just leave Hell and have everyone allow it without repercussions. D.B. Woodside joins the action as Amenadiel, an angel that pops up in to try and convince Lucifer to head back to the underworld. That doesn’t seem likely to happen, unless Fox decides to cancel Season 1 and the writers are able to script the final episode with that knowledge.

This preview was presumably taken completely from the Len Wiseman-directed pilot episode, and at this point, Lucifer’s glowing eyes and Amenadiel’s giant wingspan were the only real clues that this show actually delves into supernatural stuff, but I’m hoping things get weirder as it goes on.

Synopsis of CBS "SuperGirl" Upcoming Show

SUPERGIRL is an action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), Superman’s (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be. Twelve-year-old Kara escaped the doomed planet Krypton with her parents’ help at the same time as the infant Kal-El. Protected and raised on Earth by her foster family, the Danvers, Kara grew up in the shadow of her foster sister, Alex (Chyler Leigh), and learned to conceal the phenomenal powers she shares with her famous cousin in order to keep her identity a secret. 
Years later at 24, Kara lives in National City assisting media mogul and fierce taskmaster Cat Grant (Golden Globe Award winner Calista Flockhart), who just hired the Daily Planet’s former photographer, James Olsen (Mehcad Brooks), as her new art director. However, Kara’s days of keeping her talents a secret are over when Hank Henshaw (David Harewood), head of a super-secret agency where her sister also works, enlists her to help them protect the citizens of National City from sinister threats. Though Kara will need to find a way to manage her newfound empowerment with her very human relationships, her heart soars as she takes to the skies as Supergirl to fight crime.

True Detective‘s Season 2 can stand as a piece of hard-boiled fiction without a theory industry taking over the conversation. Speaking of conversation, people are actually talking in the new trailer for the highly anticipated series.

Changes in "True Detective‘s Season-2"

The show will embrace a true anthology structure, meaning season 2 will be a different story, following different characters; season 1 director Cary Fukunaga will not be returning as sole architect of season 2 (it will have multiple directors), and a new setting will be established. In fact, about the only thing that will remain constant is the presence of showrunner Nic Pizzolatto.

Concept of "True Detective‘s Season-2"

At the center of this new story is a bizarre murder that connects the lives of three cops: Colin Ferrell’s Ray Velcoro, Rachel McAdams’ Ani Bezzendes and Taylor Kitsch’s Paul Woodrugh. To be expected, a web of conspiracy is layered over the whole thing, and it all has to do with Vince Vaughn’s Frank Semyon, a criminally motivated entrepreneur whose partner in a land development deal is the murder victim.

This is a show that will undoubtedly have its share of gunplay – and hopefully something like that incredible one-shot take from Season 1 – but it’s kind of cool that the trailer focuses more on other signs of violence. Each of the lead characters has a moment that reflects that. Ray’s hands are bruised, and it’s almost certainly not from wild games of racquetball.

And Ani is keen on keeping her knife skills intact for any close-combat situations that come her way.We can definitely expect that to come into play.

Finally, there’s Paul’s body, which is bruised and scarred. He’s a war veteran and a motorcycle cop, so any number of terrible things could have happened to Paul in the past.

We have been heard about Ryan Murphy’s "Scream Queens" for months now, and if you have been kept tab, you may already have some idea about what the show is premising and what the general tone will be. However, today Fox just released the first trailer for Scream Queens.

This series is set in college, only Scream Queens will follow a sorority that is threatened by some person wearing a red devil mask that rivals the Scream mask in terms of creepiness.
We have known for a while that Jamie Lee Curtis is signed on to the series, playing the Dean on the college campus.

Emma Roberts is taking a lead in the series, playing Kappa sorority leader Chanel Oberlin, who wears absolutely ridiculous costumes in the new trailer. Got to love it. Anyway, it looks as if the sorority is working on gathering new recruits for the year in the early footage, and some dude is warning at least one of those recruits off, calling the sorority "dangerous." Sure enough, a short time later the “devil” in the red mask shows up, and the ominous warning seems to prove true.

With Glee ending just a couple of months ago, Fox is definitely looking to replace its school-oriented dramedy with something of a similar ilk. Fox does a lot to mention both Glee and American Horror Story in the trailer, and it seems pretty clear that the network is trying to engage with fans of both shows with its new hybrid drama. With Curtis, Michele, Roberts and more on board, hopefully the network will find itself with a hit.
